i’ve been
creating street art for ...over 10 years

what i did last
night was.....i stuck my nose in my sketchbook and went to work then after
i was through i started working on my girlfriend

my favorite
thing to eat for dinner is......charbroiled chicken tits, rice, and
brocolli

my favorite fictional charecter is....theres no
such thing as one favorite charachter because there is not one charachter out
there that has it all…with that being said i can tell you for starters that i
like james bond for his smoothness with the ladies and his wit,then there is
“dude” from the big lebowski for his cool way of dealing with everyday life,
“ramo” from beat street for obvious reasons, clarence from true romance because
the man can take care of anything, doctor jecyll and mr. hyde sometimes i feel
like that. i can keep going but i won’t.

currently in my pockets
i have ....23 bucks, fifty cents in change…a glass weed pipe, a lighter,
a film canister full of marijauna, a chainwallet, a sticker burnisher, and
keys

if i was given more time...... the only thing i would
do is keep developing my craft

who do i love... i love my
mom, my sister, my girlfriend karen and my very close homies in that order…
and most of all ME.

tiki jay one - The A’s to Our Q’s:

i got started in street art
........by breakdancing in junior high, since i had always been an artist i
was intrigued by all the free flowing letter styles…after that it took a few
more years then i was skateboarding, i got sponsered by a company that was a
head of its time.this was back in 87’. the company that sponsered me was called
“LA BRONX” they were a graffiti/skate company. anyway the owner of the company
took me under his wing and taught me all about graff in l.a. and all the
politics that come with it. i wrote graff for 10 years then my homie ikea got me
into other forms of public art.now i just like to view myself as an URBAN
LANDSCAPE SPECIALIST.

/>why dinosaurs.....i chose a dinosaur for this particular piece
because i feel like that rapter dinosaur, out on the hunt for a new spot,being
aware of my urban enviroment,and because i feel a little older now.its my easter
island head that really signs all my stencils and pieces.if i must resort to
words u can call me “tiki jay one the easter island head”.

my
favorite place to see street art.....is in the city of devils..los angeles
california.

who inspires me....for one banksy i think he
will always inspire me, hajime sorayama, and all the dope writers from the
w.a.i. crew los angeles

what i am currently working
on........ is a multi color stencil pieces as well as production of new art
for the new year…and catching my haters slipping. no sneak peeks you’ll see
them when they are up..
