Gieibi - The A’s to Our Q’s:
Wooster: How did
you get started in creating art for the street?
Gieibi:
I starded with anti mobil phone campain. then i continued to do
stickers about social themes and personal art.
Wooster:
Why faces created with numbers and letters?
Gieibi:
I belive that in the world many people write on a keyboard or do a
telephon number so i think that numbers and letters are an essential and
important part of our life. So i love change the simple meaning and usefulness
of these simbols to create funny faces.
Wooster:
What other street artists do you most admire and why?
/>Gieibi: I like space invaders for the craetivity, and access
for his pointing hands stikers.
Wooster: What’s your
favorite city, neighborhood, or block, to post and/or to see street art?
/>
Gieibi: i like doing and seeing art on recycle paper
or glass bin, or on signs, bus stops, telephone boxes…
/>Wooster: What inspires you now?
Gieibi:
hummmm
Wooster: What are you currently
working on? Can you give us a sneak peek?
Gieibi: I
feel surprise to see how many faces and expressions you can do with letters and
numbers; next step is change font type to create new combos.
