“These paintings were for a show i had in
december at a shop called normal in ottawa canada. the paintings are acrylic on
canvas and there is newspaper colaged into the hats…they are inspired by
flemish iconic paintings… van eyck stuff like that….i tried to capture the
mood of those old paintings..i used photo copies i got at the library as source
material….”
