The idea to collaborate on a show grew out of the relationship and respect that GH and Jordan Crane have had for each others work over the past years. The idea; to take some of Jordans screen-print work from ten years ago and then have GH reinvent the work on paper with no rules or guidelines. In the fall of 2002 Jordan revisited his pieces and selected close to 30-40 prints to give to GH. Between 2002 and 2003 GH reinvented the works on paper. The result of this collaboration is a body of visual work that challenges the viewers sense of composition, color and concept.
