"All We Need Is Nub"

This Valentine's Day, ToneVendor and Abide Visuals team up to show a cross-medium selection of works by downtown Sacramento resident Aaron Winters. Known more for his graphic design work for Vapors and Fork It magazines, a series of venue-specific collaborative art installations at the Capitol Garage in 2002, and his participation in the first Buyout Sellout, this will mark Aaron's first solo show since returning to the Sacramento area in 2000.

Aaron combines digital design technique with fine art sensibilities and a sharp-tongued sense of humor to create the series of prints, paintings, shirts and even a small magazine that will be on display and available for purchase (or for the taking in some cases.) Given the setting, Aaron has chosen to incorporate many of the poster and packaging designs that he has done for bands over the past five years as well. Many of these recordings now out of print, a few remaining copies will be on hand as well.
