Sam3 Holds in Down in Spain

“Hiperion had a cat; it was her niece Artemisa-Diana, who hunted womanizers. The rose bushes behind the wall scratched me more than this great feline. THANKS LIZA!!”

“The garden of giraffes, the Castillejo of Murcia, another one of the murals from the 12 Shadows project for Alter-arte”

“Kiss that which you love, even if it seems unattainable; become closer with its familiarity without fear at the top of a ladder so that you don’t make the same mistake that Icaro did.
This is the only wall that will survive the renovation of Murcia’s Castillejo.”

Because of the Wooster on Spring project, we didn’t have enough time to do the “Best of 2006” roundup like we have done for the past few years.  But if you were to ask us who our favorite artists of the year have been that we didn’t know of last year (a question we ask each year), the answer would certainly be Sam3 in Madrid.  Like Blu, Sam3 is setting the bar when it comes to scale.  Every time we see more of his work we get more excited about him as an artist.
