This Summer Axel Albin became (like a lot of us) obsessed with all the conversations that are happening on the walls and sidewalks of our cities. So he built a site, Written On The City, to showcase one of the most ephemeral forms of street art. Not only can you check it out here, but please contribute to it as well. It can easily become an amazing resource if everyone adds their photos. We will be for sure.

A few weeks ago we posted some controvercial photos of street art done in the abandoned city of Pripjat, location of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Now, the artists have put up a website about the project. You can see it here.

While in Amsterdam two weeks ago we had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy Fish for the first time. Having been massive fans of his work for a long time, it was terrific to share a few beers and stories at Chaz and Tina's pre-wedding celebration. If you're not yet familiar with Jeremy's art, now is a good time to check out his website. He just updated it with new work.

After posting a note earlier that suggested that the Stencil Revolution site was still offline, a few people emailed us to say that indeed Stencil Revolution is back on the Internet. It's one of the best sites out there, so if you haven't yet check ed out SR, now is a good time.

We saw the photo above on a new website called Stencil International, a new site that reminds us a bit of Stencil Revolution (which seems to be down for quite some time)

It's been a while since we came across a street art site that we like as much as Oddwall.Oddwall is a new website showcasing streetart in San Francisco. The photographs, taken by Steve Ensminger, are terrific. Over 1,000 images are cross-referenced by neighborhood, artist, style, and theme. Amongst the photographs are eight new pieces that Swoon did a few weeks ago. Here's one of the new images that we hadn't yet seen:
