Zonenkinder - The A’s to Our Q’s:

Wooster: How did you get started
in creating art for the street?

Zonenkinder: We (f:
dona, m: smaen) wanted to express ourselves and change the boring urban
environment which surrounds us day by day again. We try to work with the public
space and redefine it by integrating the environment in our work. Sometimes we
are lucky and it works.

Wooster: What other street
artists do you most admire and why?

Zonenkinder:
there are a too many to name, but especially os gemeos are just fantastic..those
guys have so much fantasy…and…swoon (taste of something different…)

/>Wooster: What’s your favorite city, neighborhood, or block,
to post and/or to see street art?

Zonenkinder: we
want to see it everywhere an everyday

Wooster: What
inspires you now?

Zonenkinder: love, sun, music,
travelling, graffiti, meeting new people…

Wooster:
What are you currently working on?  Can you give us a sneak peek?
/>
Zonenkinder: First: improving our english… smaen: I’m
working on my characters to make them more abstract. I want to reduce them to a
minimum / dona: I have to finish the preparation for my small exhibition in a
cafe in mainz. The next upcoming project where we work together (among others)
will probably be a huge wall in wiesbaden. It’s gonna be a conception wall
