the murals of Conor Harrington (aka Mister Who) in Cork, Ireland.  We shot an
email off to the artist and almost 20 minitues later we received the following
response:

“this is weird…..was in NY for a few days 2 weeks ago,
walking by the galleries on wooster street, blown away by a Swoon piece on a
wall, read a Swoon interview in a magazine… at this point i had’nt ever heard
of the collective until a writer out in 5 pointz recommended your site. Checked
it out when i got home….even more blown away!!!! thought, i have to get in

Mr. Who - The A’s to Our Q’s:

Wooster: How did you get
started in creating art for the street?

Mr. Who:
Saw my first piece in a copy of National Geographic in 1992. Sketched
for two years until my first piece in 94.

Wooster:
What other street artists do you most admire and why?

/>Mr. Who: An obvious one but Banksy for his sheer genius and
work load, Futura2000 for his abstract aesthetic and ECB for his incredible
urban landscapes and unique style.

Wooster:
What’s
your favorite city, neighborhood, or block to post and/or to see street art?
/>
Mr. Who: theres no place like home but New York is
always nice for a peek.

Wooster: What inspires you
now? >

Mr. Who:   the progressive minds of this
increasingly monotonous genre.

Wooster:
What are you
currently working on?  Can you give us a sneak peek?

Mr.
Who:
Solo show coming up in January so thats occupying most of my
time. Part one of the Shades album cover is done ( sleeve design with Mr. Fork)
Part two involves laying out the backs of 1000 covers and painting a portrait og
the 9 band members across so that the first 1000 customers get a piece of the
original artwork. In between all this, I’ll keep myself up the
walls….literally.
