Miss Van Hits New York

Over
the weekend, just before heading back to Barcelona, href="http://www.missvan.com">Miss Van hit the streets of Lower Manhattan,
putting up a series of new pieces in the Lower East Side and Soho. The photo
above was taken by Amber in the LES.

After travelling and painting
extensively in Europe, remarkably it’s the first time that Miss Van has put up
pieces here in New York.  To see her work on the streets here is really
exhilerating.

For Sara and I, it was a great pleasure spending some
time with both Miss Van and href="http://www.fotolog.net/papa_limbo">Landry during the last couple of
weeks.  They’re both amazing people. Recently, we’ve become addicted to a
personal page Landry put up on the web which documents their travels and various
projects.  You can check it out here.
(It was Landry who took the terrific photo that we put up on the Wooster site a
short while back of Limbo, Miss Van and Landry’s dog.)
