I NY

Last
night we had the distinct pleasure of meetin’ up with Kelly Burns, the author of
I NY, an absolutely meticulous documentation of almost three
years of street art in New York City. With over 500 photos taken from November
2000 to August 2003, I NY has got to be one of the most thorough examinations of
street art in New York we’ve yet seen.  Kelly has snaps of stuff that even we’ve
never come across, and we thought we’d seen everything down here.  The book,
which won’t hit stores for a few more weeks, is a terrific archive of incredible
stuff that unfortunately didn’t last all that long when it was up.  It’s good to
see people like Kelly out there makin’ sure that this stuff is preserved.

To find out more about the book, (including perhaps whether your stuff
is in it), check out Kelly’s website or
drop him an email.
