Give ‘Em Props! - Tvboy on Caravaggio

Is there ONE painting, sticker, stencil, sculpture, or piece of
architecture that truly inspires you in your daily work?

I
have been fascinated for a long time by a very famous Caravaggio painting
titled “S. Thomas’ doubt”.

I definitely loved him as painter, in a period of religious idealization
of materiality, he was instad attracted by reality, even when sometimes it
raised uglyness. He made portraits of whores and thieves as virgins and saints
loved everything about that piece Some years ago while studying painting in
Bilbao Nice Arts Faculty i even made a personal version of it with my flatmates
as models.

Do you have a favorite piece that you’ve cut out and have hanging on
your wall?

No In my studio I just have a collection of other
street artist gifts Iike prints putted on woodframes or other objects. Those I
prefer are some Pez’s an Dface’s ones, a collection penguin shit in a can by Pao
(like Warhol, Manzoni) and other funny stuff…
