/>From Mackplakt: “Last night was the
opening of the first “real” Belgian street art expo, “Beyond the Streets”, with over 40 national and
international artists. It took place on the basement floor of Ghent’s former
post office, which is now a small shopping mall. I went there with my Antwerp
team: Ephameron and href="http://www.kolchoz.com/">Kolchoz. While Ephameron made a tapedrawing
on her own wall I teamed up with Kolchoz to make a double panel we placed on the
floor. Lots of people came to the opening night, which made it a really nice
meeting place to finally catch up with the people behind the work.

/>The day before this show, me and Ephameron had come back from a trip to Rome
where we did a little show at a small shop/showroom in Tor Di Nona. Actually the
place is part of Studio14, the only urban art based gallery in Rome. The week
before, they’d had a show with work by Evol and Pisa73 from Germany, us, and
many other stencil artists. For the Tor Di Nona event we did a huge canvas with
local artist Crash Bunny / Gammo, Pisa73 & Evol and the father of Studio14’s
owner, Laura Lombardi, and had the chance to sell some goodies that we’d
finished making just in time for this trip.
There are still some
silkscreened magazines left that me and Ephameron silkscreen printed ourselves,
so check it out at the Mackisepha
site
.

Much love to Wooster for bringing some nice reports on
what’s going on and also posting some nice pictures on the web!”
