5 Tips From Jet-Pac
1. Take
your bike out with you, it makes you look less like a burglar and even my bmx
gives me an extra 2 foot height advantage for those hard-to-reach signs…though
you don’t want to take it into town on a Friday night there’s nothing a pissed
up radge enjoys more than someone else’s bike.
2. Ask yourself some
questions like: Do i mind that my stickers are disintegrating? How long do i
expect them to last? Do i care if some wide-o takes them down or the weather
bleaches them? Or is that the point? Are the photographs important or is it the
act of putting them up or seeing them around that interests me? And finally am i
thinking about this too much? ![]()
3. Get involved with swapping your
stickers. You’ll get a lot of enjoyment and inspiration from them and its better
fun than banging around on your own. Plus you can’t beat seeing your shit on a
road sign somewhere you’ve never been.
4. Be ballsey…in my
experience almost nobody is going to bother you or try to stop you, unless its
the FEDs.
5. Invest in some kit, i’ve had the most joy from a new
steel scalpel (not a Stanley knife unless your not keen on your thumbs), a
cutting map (expensive but worth it), a few rolls of self adhesive vinyl (which
is nearly indestructible) and a some paint pens.
