10 Years of Wooster: ABOVE

As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary of the Wooster Collective website, we asked a group of artists who we showcased in the beginnings of the website the following question:

What's the one thing that you learned in the last decade that you had wished someone had told you 10 years ago?

The following response comes from ABOVE

I wish someone had told me more about how to screen print 10 years ago. It was 5-years ago in 2008 when I pulled my first 4 color screen print.  Since that time I have immersed myself in this medium and process. Working in this method of stacking different layers in screen printing has been most enjoyable for me as it expands the way I think and create. Even though my screen print artworks are made for indoors, the by product of knowing this process of layering has helped me understand better how to execute 8-10 color stencils in the streets.  I wish I someone had told me more about screen printing 10 years ago!
