From the BBC:
"A young, innovative artist has turned the bus stop into his very own daily cartoon strip. For travellers waiting cover at the bus stop, Humphrey Barasa's cartoons provide an opportunity to catch up with light-hearted illustrations of daily life.
Mr Barasa has been drawing cartoons on the bus stop shelter for the last six years.
Although he doesn't earn any money from his drawing, it provides a platform for him to pursue his passion."

It's been far too long since we've showcased the work of one of our favorite artists, Jon Burgerman. If you aren't yet familiar with Jon's work, check out his website here.
If you find yourself in Amsterdam before the 16th of June, be sure to check out John's incredible installation at Concrete Image Store on Spuistraat 250. (More photos here)

"I recently did this in Italy. I just started drawing on one side of the room and ended up on the other side a day or so later (you can't get a simpler working process; what I draw is what you get!) It was commissioned by Miss Sixty, for their hotel, 60 Hotel, in Riccione, east Italy."... Jon

"Oh this crazy and fragile life! You guys dont know me but I know your site very well. I recently crashed my bike and broke my nose, jaw, and back. My jaw has been wired for a month and I drink out of a tube. I wanted to let you know that your site made my road to recovery less bumpy. Keep up the great work! You inspire us all so much. I attached a few self portraits I did while under the influence of pain pills. Hope you dig em. Much love, - Wythe"
