From our friend Romanywg:

"Following the success of their debut show 'Behind The Shutters' at the infamous Cordy House, tonight the Mutate Britain team open 'One Foot in the Grove', an exhibition of street/graffiti art and sculpture located in the heart of West London on the Portobello Road.

Since artists such as Futura 2000 (then touring with The Clash) and Mode 2 first painted the huge walls supporting the iconic West Way in the early 80's, they have been cited as a birthplace of British graffiti/street art culture. Now over 50 of its old school pioneers, infamous names and future masters are back to build a show that celebrates the depth and heritage of the movement.

Artists include;- Mode2, Part2ism, Xenz, Jago, Will Barras, Best Ever, Drd, RemiRough, System, Juice126, Mau Mau, Chu, and too many more to mention. See full list here or on the blog.

Opens 09/10/09 - 25/10/09
3-6 Acklam Road, London W10 5YU

It's amazing to think that it was ten years ago, in 1998, that The London Police art collective started propagating their now iconic "Lads" on city streets across Europe. For us, the London Police and the lads personify the entire street art movement. It's impossible to talk about one without the other.

So to celebrate their 10th Anniversary, this Thursday night, Chaz and Bob (London Police's original team) will open '10 Years On The Circle Line' at the StolenSpace Gallery on Brick Lane in London.

For us, now that Chaz and Bob are back together again making art, the work has never been better. Here's the info on the show:

It's been more than three years since we first spoke with Blek Le Rat about having him come to New York for a visit. We're absolutely thrilled that in early December Blek will finally be returning to New York to be a part of the Wooster on Spring project.

The photo above is of a massive 6m x 8m poster done by Blek of a homeless beggar as a reminder to the people of London that there will be thousands of homeless people in the city this coming Christmas. It went up this week on the outside of the Leonard Street Gallery. The poster and other works by Blek Le Rat are on view at the Gallery until December 6th 2006.

What What has posted on his Flickr site a new piece by Adam Neate that is the first painting you see as you go in to the new exhibition at Elms Lesters painting rooms. We agree with What What in also saying that this is our favorite piece by Adam Neate to date. Where some artists seem to be compromised a bit when attempting to produce an immense body of work, Adam seems to only be getting better from it.

Here's the info on the show:
