UNISON is a creative collaboration between two of Toronto¹s leading urban
art organizations: 4UNITY productions youth media association and Style in
Progress. Both non-profit organizations are community-based and provide
support, promotion, training and advocacy for young urban artists.
UNISON promotes respect and independence for urban artists and has applied
this principle to the design of this ten-month interdisciplinary project.
Through the staging of ten art exhibits and musical and new media
performances, UNISON is providing a safe and supportive venue to expose
up-and-coming artists to paid professional opportunities in Toronto.
UNISON values and affirms urban art forms and is committed to promoting the
diverse urban disciplines including emceeing, lyricism, turntablism,
aerosol art, video production, b-boying and fashion.
