TOMALA! Tour bus 2004


TOMALA! Magazine is having its first exhibit in Europe starting november 18th in Ljubljana, Slovenia and december 4th in Berlin, Germany. The show will feature 13 of the best latinamerican artists/designers around, presenting brand new artwork as well as animations, stickers, toys and more!

The lineup will consist of:

Toronto |December 2 | "The Monster Show"

"The Monster Show" is an exhibition of vinyl designer toys and graffiti-inspired art presented by Grind Magazine. Recent work by MCA from Evil Design and David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim from Uglydolls will be featured at the show. Their work has been published in books that they've compiled, and in other pop culture magazines such as Mass Appeal, Anthem, The Fader, and Vice; all which have been distributed in several countries around the world. Their careers have spanned well over ten years, and their work has been presented in various fine art galleries in North America.

Underground graffiti artist, Tokyo Night Train, will also display a collection of painted canvases depicting an array of Japanimation and 1970's comic-book-inspired characters. Many of which have been seen in murals he has painted in the streets of Vancouver and Toronto.

The visual artists featured in the show have all had their work published in the resent issue of Grind Magazine. Over 50 designer toys and painted canvases will be displayed December 3rd through to the 23rd.
