Seen On The Streets of Detroit

“There is a building here in Detroit that is owned by Mike Illitch (the guy who ows the Red Wings and the Tigers).  Even though that rich bastard owns the place it has remained untouched and abandoned.  Sometime last year an artist (artists?) painted almost every single window in the place.  Most designs are based on the ancient Myan calander that ends in 2012 (supposed doomsday if you believe that stuff).  With all of the work the city is doing to prepare for the Super Bowl they have decided that one of the top priorties is to remove the paintings from every window and instead leave them blank to make it that much more obvious that the place is empty.  They have already begun to take down the paintings but I grabbed some shots today of what remains.”...
