If you read the Wooster site regularly, then you know that we’re massive
fans of You Are Beautiful in
Chicago.  Very cool to see them do an open call for an upcoming book project. 
Here’s the info:

Open Call: You Are / I Am Books

This is an open call for anyone to host a book.
We now have a
secured gallery space for next summer.

You needn’t be an artist,
street artist, designer, etc. This project is open to all.

We have a
limited number of books left, and they are first come first serve. Because of
the expense of having these books made,**We are asking each host to pay
shipping.**

Please contact if interested at you-are@you-are-
beautiful.com, We will send you the details & a confirmation number.(If you have
previously requested a book, and the transaction never took place,you will need
to receive a new confirmation number.)

Information about the
books:

As the books are filled, the line of distinction
between ‘You Are’ and ‘I Am’ blurs.

Instructions of
use:

Respond to the words on the front & back cover There is
no limit on the number of responses or pages used per person. In previous books,
all medias have been used. Collage, paint, marker, photographs, digital imagery,
even mirrors have been glued on pages. Be creative.

The
reponsibility of the host:

The fact that you are the host
does not mean that you have to keep this book in your possession. It does mean
that you must keep track of it. Feel free to pass the book around, and share it
with others. Please make sure, however, that you get the book back. And return
it to us by June 30th, 2005. These books are approx 8.5” x 11” 200-300 pages. We
would like to have them filled for the exhibition.

Please respond
promptly, as we want each host to have a full year with their book.
