Wooster Tsunami Relief Efforts - An Update
In the hours since we put up a note about our
desire to do something in response to the disaster in Asia, we’ve received
emails from around the world offering support for a Wooster organized relief
fund effort. We still don’t know what shape or form it will take so keep sending
any ideas or thoughts that you have.
In the two years since we first
launched the Wooster site, we’ve learned so so much from it. This week we found
out just how close and supportive the community of artists and art lovers really
is. The emails we’ve received are very powerful and touching.
One
request we’ve received from so many different people, is for us to set up a
donations button with Paypal so that Wooster readers can donate some money as a
group. If you haven’t yet donated any money, please consider clicking on the
bottom on the left navigation bar.
Of all the various groups that
are worthy of our support we’re a bit partial to Doctors Without Borders. If you
all agree, we’ll be giving the funds collected by paypal to
href="http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/">Doctors Without Borders/Medecins
Sans Frontieres. We’ll also let you know how much money we collect.
/>Thanks in advance for your support
