We’re pleased to let you know that today we’re launching the third in
our series of “Wooster Special Editions” with a href="http://www.woostercollective.com/specialeditions.html">Wooster Special
Edition of Lavender which was
curated and produced by our friends, Faile.
If you are not familiar with the Wooster Special Editions project, every month
we chose one of our favorite art books - most often artist’s monographs and
limited editions - and then work with the artist to develop a Special Edition of
the book that will then be offered exclusively from the Wooster Collective
website. Past Special Edition projects include Bast’s Revolution De Papel and
Shepard Fairey’s POST NO BILLS.

In Lavender, Faile presents another
collection of works from both emerging and established artists. Themed and
scented with lavender, the book features work of Stefan Sagmeister, David Ellis,
Bast, ELIK, Andrew Kuo, Deanne Cheuk, Young Kim, Shepard Fairey, Che Jen and
others, while short stories by Griffin Creech can be found throughout. Inside is
a CD of Lavender inspired tunes. The book also has a Type face named Lavender
designed by Patrick Miller of Faile. The introduction is by zingmagazine editor
Devon Dikeou.

/>For the Wooster Special Edition, FAILE has hand screened the front and back
covers in an edition of only 50 copies. It’s a beautiful book, which has now
been made even more beautiful with the limited edition screened covers.
