Wooster Hits London - Report #1
So we arrived in London late Saturday night.
Yesterday was spent checking out the markets (and the art) around Brick Lane.
Spitalfields seems to get more and more crowded every time we come. But it’s
still great fun. We briefly considered buying a bike from one of the Russian
guys on the street to use while we were here. But in the end, we decided against
it.
Great to see so much art up on the streets. Lots of stencils.
Nice work by PMH. Tons of tags by Downey and Buddy Lembeck (done when Buddy was
recently in London). It was terrific to run into red5 at the old Truman Brewery.
But the highlight of the day (other than the beers at Ten Bells) was
coming across a rare painting by Barry McGee.
