/> hspace="10">What types of people are interested in street art? On Sunday
afternoon, as part of the amazing "http://www.glowlab.com/psygeocon/pgc_index.html">Psy-Geo-Conflux Festival,
we conducted a street art walking tour through Lower Manhattan for a group that
included grandmothers, MBA’s, and Citibank executives.  Over 60 people from all
walks of life gathered in the Lower East Side to learn more about street art -
who’s making it and what does it all mean (although we’re not so sure we
answered all these questions - we gave it our best shot).  Thanks goes out to
all the artists who made our route special. It began with href="http://www.rep1.net">Rep1, who left our group small bags of his
stickers.  Along the way, href="http://www.wearechangeagent.com/swoon/">Swoon contributed some
beautiful pieces which included a wonderful gigantic dandilion that left us
absolutely speechless.  As we stood in front of the apartment house door graced
with Swoon’s dandilion - talking about it with the entire group standing in a
semi-circle - the door suddenly opened and a woman walked out of the building.
She looked up at all of us and said almost without a pause— “We don’ know who
left us this flower, but we love it!” Our tour ended two hours later at the
Candy Factory on Wooster Street, which King
Tofer
had recently wrapped with candy stripes.

Thanks goes out to
all the artists who have consistently put interesting work up and thus made our
job as tour guide really easy. And thanks again to all the new street art lovers
who came out for the walk and are spreading the love. Keep in touch!
