There’s a
ton of events going on in the next few weeks, but this one look particularly
interesting:

Design in the
Public Interest/ Design Against the War
is a round table discussion with
Nancy Doniger, illustrator and designer for Brooklyn Parents for Peace;
Lee Gough, printmaker, anti-war activist, and graphic artist who lives in
Brooklyn, NY and; L.A. Kauffman, staff organizer for United for Peace and
Justice and designer of materials to promote the February 15 and March 22
marches in New York City. Anti-war groups are being invited to announce their
activities to artists and designers in the audience at the end of the
discussion.

The event will take place from 7pm to 9pm this coming
Wednesday, April 16th at the Cooper Union 41 Cooper Square, (room 207 Third
Avenue between 6th & 7th Streets). It’s free and open to the public.
