“The oldest known artworks in the world are Graf!”... Mysterious Al

/>This from our friend href="http://www.mysteriousal.com/dynamic/FRAMEindex.html">Mysterious Al in
London: “Dunno if any of you saw this on the news today - But the cave paintings
in the Chauvet cave have recently been scientifically proven to be the oldest
known artworks in the world. Archaeologists reckon they are around 32,000 years
old- and they’re graff! What really blows my mind about these paintings is the
composition. Before the discovery of the Chauvet cave, early cave paintings were
really spontanious, and random. The examples here are incredibly planned, and
designed. The lines are confident- with no room for any mistakes. Whoever
painted theses must have been an excellent draftsman. See how he gets better at
drawing horses (one of the hardest things to draw!) as he goes on? It really
interests me to see the way that ALL artists seem, to lay out their sketches and
use their imaginations in this way. The world news is usually so depressing, I
just love seeing stuff like this!”
