in no particular order…

width="200">1. Get lucky.

If you’re lucky enough to
hear about and be in London for a FINDERS KEEPERS gathering, do everything you
can to attend. bring art painted on found objects or just come along to grab a
piece of original work for yourself. This is the best way to meet some of the
tightest Street artists working in and around London right now. Past appearances
by Flying Fortress and the London Police means this event is kept
international!

2. Get lost.

London’s a
big place y’all so buy a map that has a good street Index and a full Tube map.
Get all your sight seeing over with in one hit and head to Waterloo bridge, the
view from it is one of the best in London, if you want that picture postcard
shot. this is the place, go at night or on a clear morning. Take a nice deep
breath of that fresh London air whilst your there!! Mmmmmm!!!

3.
Get ready.

So you forgot your markers, couldn’t get
spray paint through customs. well go to the Graphotism store. Clapham Junction
train station, come out the main exit, turn right and walk up the hill, its
about 100yrds up on the right. ONLY OPEN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!!

4.
Get up.

Old Street, its the cliche cool place in
London right now, but its a good area to put work up and spot work by other
artists who have passed through. Check out one of the many bars, the Dragon bar
on Leonard Street is a good writers hang out, so is Dream Bags and Jaguar Shoes
on Kingsland Road.  Just watch out for all the stooopid haircut, army jacket
wearing ‘new media’ types that can afford to live here!!!

5.
Get down.

Last but by no means least, I have to
mention my friends new store ‘best’ on Leather Lane EC1, a small concept store
with big plans ahead. It sells Krink, paint, markers, limited edition T-shirts
and other worthy gifts to surprise your friends with, beats the hell out of a
Teddy bear dressed as a policeman!!

6. Get
stuffed.

Yeah I know I said 5, but you gotta eat! If you’re
in the Old St area head to Noodle King, 185 Bethnal Green Rd. This place keeps
Dave the Chimp alive so it must be good!!! Big plates of cheap and tasty
noodles, quickly served, ideal pre bombing fuel!

Heads up and enjoy
your trip. ohh and don’t feed the pigeons!
