SIXTEN - The A’s to Our Q’s:
Wooster: How did you get started
in creating art for the street?
SIXTEN: I don’t
know, just kinda happened? guess the boredom finally grew too big and I had to
do something about it.
Wooster: What other street
artists do you most admire and why?
SIXTEN:
href="http://www.wkinteract.com">WK Interact, simple but so fucking cool.
href="http://www.banksy.co.uk">Banksy - the mind, the fantasy, the genius.
All the local Melbourne artists whom have made this city the fucking stencil
capital of the world. They’re too many to mention and I don’t wanna forget any
names? I love them all.
Wooster: What’s your
favorite city, neighborhood, or block, to post and/or to see street art?
/>
SIXTEN: Melbourne is the place to be, both to see and
to paint, I love it here.
Wooster: What inspires you
now?
SIXTEN: Everything that’s going on around me,
all the crazy new art that pops up everywhere.
Wooster:
What are you currently working on? Can you give us a sneak peek?
/>
SIXTEN: Along with Meek I’m putting together a book
about the stencil graffiti scene here in Melbourne. We have an image bank of
about 4000 pics to choose from + we’ve done interviews with some of the most
active artists. We?re trying to finish it as soon as possible but at the same
time we don?t wanna rush it. It?s gonna be good.
