Sharing Your Stories: Loaf and The Stuffed Animal Brigade

The other day we shared a bit about the things we do outside of Wooster Collective, and encouraged all of you to share with us something about yourself.  The emails we received have been amazing and, as we near our tenth anniversary of doing the Wooster website, we wanted to share some of these stories with you…

“When you asked for the readers to tell something about themselves, you know I want to say I’ve been checking on your blog every now and again for a long while now. I mean, I think since high school. For me that seems like a long time ago. I’ve since done some of the things people are supposed to do, went to college, grad school, somehow tricked people into letting me teach art all over the globe, all kinds of crazy stuff. But in the end I realize throughout it all I’ve always been painting, on walls, on paper, on wood, whatever! since I was like only a few years old! It’s hard to believe it’s been that long, and it’s hard to believe I’ve been checking on your blog for however long it’s been out there, I don’t even remember, it seems like over ten years, can that be right? But I’d be lying if I said it didn’t play a part in me becoming who I am. Somehow or another I’m sure you’ve all pushed me in the direction I’m in without even knowing about it. And I’m sure there are many others out there just like me. So, for them and me and for what it’s worth, thanks! Only good things your way!”
