From Sano: “I’m a DJ/Graphic Designer from
Medellin, Colombia, SA. 23yr old and making an affort to ‘feed’ the urban scene
of my city. This city is passing through a urban metamorphosis, after the ‘mafia
days’ this society is turning his heads to other horizons and things are
happening around, some bits of ‘underground culture’ are appearing on the
way.
I work in the streets as ‘sano’... I’ve invaded the city with
around 1400 rabbits by now… and some more are waiting. The work that i want
you to know about, it’s a reflection about some terms that we use here, in the
street language, ‘slang’ is the english word. That terms have relation with
animals, and they symbolize some attitude or a kind of people that acts in some
way… anyway, the project consists in 10 big scale (1.20 mt height aprox.)
stencils on the streets, supported with a text that talks about the
character.”
