Still kicking ourselves for missing the Chris Cunningham retrospective they held last time ‘round. This year’s RESFEST highlights the work of Michael Gondry, who is known for his trail-blazing work in commercials and has been tapped to do videos for Bjork (“Human Behaviour”), Radiohead, The Chemical Brothers, The Rolling Stones, The White Stripes (the Lego one).. even Kylie Minogue! The RES people have also put together a killer opening party with hip hop beat masters Amon Tobin and RJD2, who pick up where DJ Shadow left off.

The WC will be twiddling our thumbs for a few more weeks til RES makes its way over to New Yawk, where they got LCD Soundsystem - woohoo!
