/>Who and/or what are some of your influences?

My
influences are extremely varied. My primary influences are the mass media and
pop culture; things like TV, advertising, package design, and theme restaurants.
The world is a visual playground and I feel affected by everything I see.
Another big influence is Music. The types of music I’m listening to definitely
plays a big part in how the work comes out.

What other
artists do you most admire?

I admire a lot of different
artists and types of art. Historically I admire artists like Joseph Beuys, Andy
Warhol, Sigmar Polke and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Some current artists that I
admire are Mike Kelley, Damien Hirst, Matthew Barney, and the Chapman Brothers.
And obviously, I admire street artists like Shepard Fairey and The
Buffmonster.

How would you describe your art to someone
who could not see it?

My artwork is an attempt to
compete with and bring attention to the absurdities surrounding us in this
highly media-saturated society.

What other talent would
most like to have?

Mathematics, so I can keep better
track of my checkbook.

What do you fear the
most?

Taco Bell beef.

What is
your greatest ambition
?

To dress snazzy like
Regis.
