/>Who and/or what are some of your influences?

One of the
first artists that i knew is a Brazilian guy called MZK that used to make
fanzines and Tattoo comics in 1989. he showed me some great stuff when i was 16
years old! Like big handmade posters and stuff like that… I started to paint
my style in 96/97, at this time i was crazy by the artwork that Rich Jacobs has
done for the ICEBURN records sleves and he is an influence at that time. back
then i used to paint a lot of cardboards, wood, recicled stuff and diferent
kinds of ink and paints… I turn my head more into the graffiti stuff, not
doing pieces or letters, but assimiling the cans, markers, stickers and the
style to something that i have started for myself working more as a therapy. The
sketch books from Tinho, Herbert, Flip and Onesto (Great Brazilian artists) made
me see it in a different angle…i used to paste up and stick with Marginalink
in 99 and paste ups with Flip since 2000 and they still influenced me! The first
“Invasao video” the paste up part from Onesto and Chico is like an influence too
at the time that the video went out…

What other artists do you
most admire?

Brasil: Nunca, Flip, Onesto, Hebert,
Silvana Mello, Matheus Grimm, Carlos Dias/Overseas: Rich Jacobs, Eko, Swoon,
