Falling Guy - The A’s to Our Q’s:

Wooster: How
did you get started in creating art for the street?

Falling
Guy:
I’ve just got back into making stuff again since getting a job and
learning about computers less.

Wooster: Why a
falling guy?

Falling Guy: He was the first in a
series of random stickers that I hoped would work ok when jumbled into a
sequence but I seem to have settled on him for the moment. I like the idea that
he’s maybe always falling somewhere. At least the vinyl guys are!

/>Wooster: What other street artists do you most admire and
why?

Falling Guy: There’s so many good things: Abe
lincoln, jnr and DAVe make me laugh regularly. Ive been really enjoying
DoubleDevils output recently. Mudwig, Swoon, Dan Witz, Calma, Flying Fortress,
moondoglovesyou. Jet-pac is continually surprising me- especially with his
shaolin scissor skills. plus Ive stolen plenty of amazing stickers off him from
the likes of dFace, Mjar, Eko and robotswillkill. All beautiful stuff!

Wooster: What’s your favorite city, neighborhood, or
block, to post and/or to see street art?

Falling
Guy:
I see most of it on the web although I like posting round and
about the old mills in Lancashire. I love the galleries at stickit and all the
brazillian stuff too.

Wooster: What inspires you
now?

Falling Guy: Wandering about the town plus all
the stuff I see on the web from around the world, and it’s great to work with
friends on stuff. Lynsey who tells it like it is, and my friends who now keep in
touch thrunu-produkt and enjoy a good
fight;)

Wooster: What are you currently working on?
Can you give us a sneak peek?

Falling Guy:
Hopefully doing more work with friends - and I’ve been meaning to start putting
out some more of these rainbows. I messed about with these a while back but
never really got round to printing enough and getting them out. I’ll do a solid
run of them one day.
