Profile: Aiko

In follow-up to yesterday’s profile of Zoie for
Eat My Chickens, here’s a short interview with Aiko, who along with Zoie and
Mine contribute to Eat More

/>What did you do last night?: went to a hip hop and funk
night in whitechappel called spill the beans. in fact im still hung over.
/>What is your favorite thing to eat for dinner?: nice juicy
rare steak
Who is your favorite fictional character?:
yossorian, lives
What do you currently have in your pockets?:
If you were given “more time,” what would you do
with it?:
produce more stencils which are bigger and better than
anything i’ve done before oh and probably go down the local to shoot some
Who do you love?: my mum, lol

Wooster: How did you get started in
creating art for the street?

aiko: i saw my mates
mine and zoie throwing up the kerneel stencil after college one day i thought i
can do better than that and it all went from there with a lot of healthy

Wooster: What other street artists do you
most admire and why?

aiko: lol, mine and zoie they
make me compete,  psalm cos his stencils are so sick mysterious al cos his
caracters are sick stolen space and london police for the same reason missteek
for stylistic women , nylon goes he is fucking all over brighton with some
amsing stencils, nano4184 cos the cats are watching us and bernie reid

aiko: stockwell

everyone who was just at finders keepers 03 its just uped the bar for

aiko: another big stencil about 4ft high and 6 ft

zoie and mine dont get to see things before they are finished
