Open Call From Submissions From Klutch

From our
friend Klutch in Portland: “I am putting together a sticker/wheat paste
installation for a show that opens on September 30th and runs for the month of
October. The installation will be mounted on gator board and will be approx. 6
feet(2 meters) X 30 Feet (10 meters) though if there the option to go bigger if
there is enough work. The intent is to create a showcase of the artier side of
street art. Portlanders love graffiti/street art and I want to keep exposing the
amazing quality of work happening around the world. My whole vibe of every show
I put together isn’t “look at me” but rather “come join us”.
There is
no deadline but sooner is obviously better as I will start assembly later this
month. But ultimately is just get it here by the shows opening on Sept. 30. We
will keep pasting on it all month so it keeps evolving and when the show comes
down the piece will be destroyed. It won’t be for sale and will only exist for
one month though there will be tons of pics on both my own and the Goodfoot’s
websites. All types of paper is encouraged as I am looking for a wide variety of
materials. As long as it can reasonably be wheat pasted it will be added to the
wall. The main focus of the piece is to showcase the artier side of street art
so aim for quality and not quantity.
