Wooster: How did you get started in
creating art for the street?

Mack: Some friends at art-school
learned me how to tagg and spraypaint, but it never felt right..not having the
time you want to do something you like, thats why I started doing stickers.this
way i could show whatever i want. Also Antwerp is a really cool city with a
quality-graffscene.

Wooster: Where do the images you use in
your stickers come from?

Mack: I started with redesigning
stuff from comics and pictures i found (mainly old gangster stuff), but now i
make my own flics and redesign them into stickers. Always black and white.

Wooster: What other street artists do you most admire and why?

Wooster: What’s your
favorite city, neighborhood, or block, to post and/or to see street art?

Mack: mainly still Antwerp because i try to keep it mine,wich is
a hell of a job because stickers are getting realy big here.I always enjoy going
to other countries because you have to open your eyes again to look for cool
spots, it’s like starting all over again.

Wooster: What
inspires you now?

Mack: A friend of mine named Prutpuss,
makes some incredible stuff. He also works with screenprints and knows all the
different techniques,and by time i learn those techniques from him. Then there’s
Dennis
tyfus,also from Antwerp, who makes some incredible crazy shit. I try to make
my stuff as crazy ,but nobody tops his shit.

Wooster: What are
you currently working on?  Can you give us a sneak peek?

Mack:
I’m doing two Expos’s the next few months in Belgium and the
netherlands.I’m also working on some underground magazines coming out. I finally
got my hands on free posterpaper,so I’m finally going to do it the big way, some
new stencils and also some legal walls.
