TOBIN YELLAND Since the age of fifteen, Tobin Yelland has been steadily documenting the shadowy existence of youth and its vestiges in day to day life. First published by Thrasher, Tobin’s work has expanded beyond the world of San Francisco skaters to become a collection of images giving voice to an entire generation across locals and social identities. His photographs have been printed by numerous publications such as Lodown, Iron Horse and The New York Times. He has shown his work in places ranging from the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia to the Center for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, Australia. Yelland currently is in a traveling show called Beautiful Losers that is currently at Yerba Buena Center for The Arts in San Francisco until Oct 10, 2004 and will be at the Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach February 5-May 8, 2005.
CHRIS YORMICK curently lives in New York City. He lived his teenage years in and around the District of Columbia, doing teenage things. Chris loves art. Participating in it also brings joy to this fine and outstanding young man.
