jet+rubble - The A’s to Our Q’s:
Wooster: How did you get started
in creating art for the street?
jet+rubble: Mostly
out of disgust and resentment - and it was cheaper than proper therapy.
/>Wooster: Why stickers on eyes?
jet+rubble:
They need them. It reminds people to see things differently - and
hopefully they can them reclaim their own opinions. Because, you know,
advertising is all bullshit. Ha.
Wooster: What other
street artists do you most admire and why?
jet+rubble:
Faile for their integrity and creativity. Swoon for her purity,
commitment and originality. Oh, and Sacer don’t scare.
/>Wooster: What’s your favorite city, neighborhood, or block,
to post and/or to see street art?
jet+rubble: For
now, downtown NYC really holds the dialogue. It’s amazing just how many
anonymous participants there are.
Wooster: What
inspires you now?
jet+rubble: It’s all in the game -
keeping up, having fun and, of course, waking the giant doesn’t hurt.
/>Wooster: What are you currently working on?
/>jet+rubble: You’ll know it when you see it.
/>Wooster: Can you give us a sneak peek?
/>jet+rubble: Have you got a quarter?
