It looks
like one of the most famous spots in Lower Manhattan to see and post street art
may be coming to an end soon. 11 Spring Street (at Bowery & Elizabeth Street)
has recently been put up for

you follow the New York street art scene, then you know that this building hosts
some of the best street art in Manhattan. Massive pieces by Shepard, FAILE,
Bast, and others. The building has been vacant for years. Each night, the woman
who owns it, lights a single candle in every window. It’s a bizarre site. It’ll
be sad to see it all end, but with a price tag of $6,000,000, it may be some
time before anything happens.
