“Give ‘Em Props!”—Jhonen Vasquez by Ckoe

“The piece i
took is from Jhonen Vasquez, a comic artist. I discovered his Johnny the
Homicidal Maniac series some years ago and this stuff made me pick up my pen and
paper again to start drawing after painting silly stuff for years in my
childhood.  It’s violent, bloody and just great, the movements, the sometimes
minimalistic drawings, black and white.. it’s doing the trick for the full 100%.
He’s got humor, he’s sick and that’s what i like about this artist.  So to keep
it short, his album/ artist made me as i am today as an artist, and that’s
exactly why i picked this one.. cheers ckoe”
