“Is there ONE painting, sticker,

“Is there ONE painting, sticker, stencil,
sculpture, or piece of architecture that truly inspires you in your daily
work?”

“Give ‘Em Props!”—Piet Mondrian by OPT

“It’s really hard to
choose one and the first who came in my mind is Piet MONDRIAN. So, let’s talk
about his painting. I really love his “square style”, it’s simple, very graffic
and he use luminous colors. He is surely the first graffic designer. Moreover,
when i saw his canvas, it doesn’t look likes 1921’s style. I should say his
production is modern, timeless and will never age.

“Give ‘Em Props!”—Paula Sher by OPT

Yeah- I was wrong! It’s
not Mondrian !!! When i came back home, i thought what you asking me, and i see
Paula Sher’s book on my desk. She lives and works in New York City, she’s a
graffic designer. Her global work for the Public Theatre of New York is
definitely my favorite one. I love her compositions with a real typografik work.
i’ve one thing to say “MARRY ME PAULA !”
