“This is a birthday card
my grandfather painted for me one year. I have a bunch he did for me, but this
one of me as a kid painting def stands out. He was an artist and would draw with
me every time I would visit. That was the beginning of me doing what I still do
today - trying to draw or do something everyday.  It also reminds me how fun it
was just to draw as a kid and without stuff on yer mind like deadlines, work
problems, thinking about paying rent, etc & that if you can, try to get back to
that mind set as much as possible when doing your work”
