/>A couple of months ago we posted a few images of the word “HYPE” that had been
appearing in spots all over London.  Then a day or so later, we learned that
“hype” was actually a new gallery concept that was soon to open in London at the
old Truman Gallery on Brick Lane.  Well today, January 22nd, the hype gallery
officially opens for a four week run. The cool thing about hype is that you can
have your artwork displayed at the gallery no matter where you live. Here’s how
it works:

First, you need to create a piece of art which is inspired
by a word or phrase which contains the letters “H” and “P”.  The you need to
create a jpeg of the image.  If you are not in London, and you want to email the
image, it needs to be in a size that is 640 by 480 pixels.  The image needs to
be smaller then 250k. If it’s a short film can be up to 60 seconds.  These
images can be emailed to orko@cakemedia.com and they will be uploaded to hypes
online gallery.  If you want to have your work displayed in the gallery, mail it
to:

If you’re in London and you want to submit your artwork,
the image can be up to 4320 x 2880 and can be either a jpeg, TIFF, Photoshop,
BMP, or GIF file. Simply bring the file down to the gallery on a CD or DVD and
it will be printed and displayed.
