/>As this week comes to a close, we’re saddened to hear that Helmut Newton was
killed yesterday in a car accident in Los Angeles.  Most of you are probably
familiar with Newton’s work, but if you’re not, spend a few minutes this weekend
and check out the full scope of his career.  They guy was 83 when he died, and
in his lifetime he changed the course of fashion photography.  Forget fashion
photography, he changed the course of photography in general.  He was an amazing
creative force and while his work was indeed polarizing the guy was a genius.
