Florence and Hussein are free, “Paint their
walls away” is cancelled

Enfin… La journaliste Florence Aubenas et
son guide-interprete, Hussein Hanoun, sont libres. Apres les premiers moments de
soulagement et d’emotion, le Comite de soutien tient aujourd’hui a remercier
tous ceux qui ont oeuvrer a leur liberation. Et notamment tous les graffiti-
artistes, tous les maitres du wall-painting, de tous styles et de toutes
chapelles : qui s’appretaient, de Paris a New-York, de Bamako a Prague, de
Madrid a Tokyo a occuper un mur “Pour florence et Hussein” . L’operation est
evidemment annulee. Le comite s’auto-dissout. Son combat est termine.
Individuellement, bien d’autres nous attendent… Merci

At last,
French newspaper reporter Florence Aubenas and her assistant Hussein Hanoun al-
Saadi are free. Today, their Defense committee would like to thank all the
people that have joined their forces to free them. And among them, of course,
all the graffiti artists, street artists and muralists, from Paris to New-York,
from Bamako to Praga, from Madrid to Tokyo, who had answer our appeal to
dedicate a wall to Florence and Hussein. The whole operation is of course
cancelled. The Defense committee will now cease to exist. Its fight is over. For
each of us, others fights are to come… Thank you.
