To celebrate Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday, I dressed up the controversial Cardiff Kook sculpture as Van Gogh.
A severed ear, Absinthe bottle, sunflowers and card are at the base. The statue is decked out in full costume and an easel was welded to fit on the nose of the board. I painted the painting of the view from the sculpture in a post impressionism style.
In addition, 6 paper mache crows are scatted around the sculpture and in the intersection.
Hope you raise a glass to Vincent!”
