in over 15 years at an FriendsOfSound event.

The night when i done an exhibition
with She One, Picasso, Quentin Blake and Rembrant in Sheffield; meeting Quentin
Blake, drinking the free wine and then a barrel of Pale Rider beer round Will-
da-beast’s house for his birthday and going to ‘Lights Down Low’ above the Ice
Rink before passing out round Lisa’s.

Darius: Charlie Parker, always.


Mysterious Al: Damn, this question comes around all the time. There

book.

Mysterious Al: It has to be this piece I saw for sale on the street near the Wooster‘s place. It’s dope on so many levels… Those letterforms, the american flag…. and, is that Taz in the corner with a sporaycan? This is REAL graff for REAL writers, yo.

Kid Acne: The T-Rex piece he did with the bricks flying out of it opposite The Highway pub down Pitsmoor.

Mysterious Al: Anything by MF DOOM. 2004 was really his year with five full albums released His latest, Mm Food is good, but my favorite was Viktor Vaughn. Shit is out there.

Dom: After much searching I finally got my hands on a copy of Way Back Home by the The Jazz Crusaders. Best song of 2004 and all time!!

Chad: I keep listening to impeach the president by the honeydrippers followed by headless heroes by Eugene McDaniels over and over and over (but on the whats really front MIA with diplo kill it, heat from the realm of hotness!)

Mysterious Al: Our Finders Keepers show in Barcelona. So many good people, so much refreshing art- and seeing everyone go crazy fighting over trash whilst bewilderd spanish people watched. Was so good.


Dom: Setting up tak!TAK! as a proper company and moving into tak!TAK! Towers in Birmingham. Was a dream finally realised. I can now come into work late with no-one shouting at me - heh heh heh.

Mysterious Al: Audioscrobbler is great. It logs everything you listen to in itunes and shows you other users who have simillar musical tastes. You end up getting into some seriously cool bands that you’d never otherwise hear of. Really cool.


Dom: Ach - I see the web all day and browse a zillion websites. I always use the BBC website just to keep my ear to the ground on a lot of things. (I think I said BBC last year… ooops!)

What is your New Year’s wish?


Darius: That tomorrow will always be better than today.


Mysterious Al: To keep on producing successful work, to travel more and make new friends, to paint more, to grow a beard.


Dom: That we keep meeting nice people who like to share their art with everybody and keeps our journeys interesting and the streets vibrant. This simple pleasure makes up for all the shit in the world.
