/>EMPTE EYES: “just got back fr/
neck’s show! It was suprisingly really fun and a really well put together
show.
After meeting the “goat killer” himself I found a new respect
for Neckface! After seeing some of first tags go up in NYC in 2002, move abroad
and come back to the United States of Neckface, seeing him in every publication
on the web, magazines and exciting the outsider street art world suprised me to
say the least.
Talking with other writers to avg. joe, everyone wants
to know who is this guy? and why? It’s not neccesarily who he is but what he
brings to the table! The raw excitement and youth of the ambitious kid “beat
with the ugly stick” reminds us what being motivated and dedicated is all about.
Not the talent but the drive. It seems like everyone is striving to be “so”
individualistic especially these days, where “SATANS BRIDE” effortlessly came
about showed and exemplified what being an individual is really is, that is
doing what you believe and not wavering in ambiguoty.
“I feel good
about the show, it’s all coming together better than I thought.” as Neckface
should! I was very impressed with the welded car hood installations, his welded
masks, collage paintings and his cameo photo op! He turned me into a fan over
night reminding me why I started Graf.
The always impressive
